Magan Vashisht joined the Catapult team in September 2025. Magan brings over 13 years of accounting experience in the upstream oil and gas industry, with a wide range of expertise. Magan began his career at XTO Energy, then worked with several private E&P companies before his most recent role – leading a multi-billion-dollar account for Baker Tilly’s Managed Services team.
He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Texas at Arlington and an MBA from Texas Christian University.
Originally from India, Magan made the move to the U.S. in 2007 and has called Fort Worth home ever since. He loves traveling with his wife, Megha (also an accounting pro in audit), and their son, Reyansh; the trio has already explored three countries and several U.S. states together! Magan and Megha are avid foodies who enjoy cooking, hosting, and sampling vegetarian cuisines from around the world and right here in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area.
