Joining the company in January 2023, Julia brings diverse experience to her role. A perpetual student, she holds a Music degree and initially worked as an opera singer and performer. Later, after receiving her master's in Education, Julia taught high school before going back to receive her Petroleum Engineering degree. She previously worked at Castex Energy in Houston as a Reservoir Engineering Analyst and was also employed as a Reservoir Engineer at Matador Resources before coming to Catapult.
The daughter of a Geologist, she grew up surrounded by people in the energy sector and was always intrigued by the workings of the industry. Julia now plays an essential role for Catapult, assessing assets and assisting in the finding and development of new acquisitions. She’s a proactive, hard-working member of the team.
Julia lives with her husband and their two-year-old Shiba Inu dog. They spend their weekends playing games with friends, exploring museums, taking day hikes around Texas, and visiting family in Houston.
